Strand-by-strand wrapping
This is a hand technique: a special formula is applied to every strand individually, and each treated strand is then wrapped (rolled) in foil or film. This is not simply “highlighting on foil”. It is precision work, where every strand is handled separately, with exact timing and sequence.

- Wrapping each strand separately: every treated strand is isolated from the others. That makes it possible to:
- Create sharp, contrasting colour transitions (for techniques such as balayage and shatush).
- Use different formulas and processing times on different areas of the head within a single appointment (lifting some zones more strongly, others more gently).
- Protect the hair that is not being treated from stray product as much as possible.
- Create a thermos effect, which speeds up and intensifies the lifting or colouring process.
- Order and strategy: the stylist does not work at random but to a clear scheme (for example, from the darkest zones at the roots towards the lighter ends, or the other way round). This takes a deep understanding of chemistry and of the geometry of the head.
- Time and effort: this is one of the longest treatments in the salon (it can take from 3 to 6 hours or more). The price is high precisely because of the enormous amount of time and concentration it demands.
- Colour customisation like nothing else: you can build remarkably complex, multi-dimensional colour, from soft, dissolving transitions (shatush) to graphic, bright strands (balayage).
- Perfectly seamless and natural: because the stylist controls every strand, the result can look exactly as if your hair had lightened naturally in the sun, with no visible roots.
- Hair stays healthy: thanks to the precise application, the formula does not touch the whole mass of hair, which keeps the overall damage to a minimum.
- Long-lasting and convenient: this kind of work grows out beautifully, without a harsh line of demarcation. The roots do not need frequent touch-ups.
